Delores King
Mrs. King wanted to remove her old carpet and bring her hardwoods back to life. After removing the carpet there was significant damage done by water and pets. I advised Mrs. King we should stain to mask these problem areas and after choosing a ebony stain both her and I were very pleased.
Dan Burke
Mr. Burke is in the process of selling his home and wanted to make it more appealing. The parquet flooring he had throughout the home was in descent shape but needed to be revived. After a coat of polyurethane the floors look fresh again.
Mr. and Mrs. Snyder
Mr. and Mrs. Snyder's son had just purchased his first home. After removing carpet from bedrooms and seeing they had a few pet problems they decided to call upon my services to resurface the hardwood flooring. After sanding the floors to a smooth finish I used a jacobean stain to mask the problem areas that did not sand out, after coating with two top coats of oil polyurethane.
Bill Fissell
Mr. Fissell's project consisted of two rooms that were previously stained in which he wanted to keep the color and remove all of the scratches. After sanding to a smooth surface and applying matching stain I applied three coats of oil polyurethane over the floor.
Projects throughout the years
These are previous projects I have completed over my career.
Brandon Savage
Mr. and Mrs. Savage wanted to liven their floor to make into a nursery. After removing the carpets the floor was in pretty good shape. The project consisted of resurfacing the room and adding three coats of polyurethane: one sealer coat and two top coats. Time to complete the project was approximately two days.
Gymnasium Projects
These are some of the Gymnasium Floors that I have either installed, resurfaced or recoated throughout my career
Halle DeRoche
Mrs. DeRoche's project consisted of one bedroom with a small walk-in closet. The carpet had been removed and shown signs of damage. I went with a Dark Walnut stain to help mask the imperfections and afterwards coated with four coats of Basic Coatings water based polyurethane, (Satin).
Juanita Rumora
Mrs. Rumora had a foyer and bedroom that needed to have the old oil based polyurethane sanded off. After sanding I applied four coats of Basic Coatings water based polyurethane.
Judy Frate
Mrs. Frate's project consisted of a bedroom, two hallways, a living room and a dining room. After removing the carpet and seeing some damage from water and pets it was suggested to mask the marks with a Jacobean minwax stain. Also the bullnose and a couple boards needed to be replaced/installed. Project was then coated with four coats of water based polyurethane.
Mark and Kathy Faulhammer
The Faulhammer's removed carpeting from their steps that had been there for 30 years. They found the need to replace a thread and wanted their steps refinished. I suggested a red oak stain to mask previous marks in the steps. Project was completed in two and a half days.
